Senior Instructional Design Consultant, Field Operation Training Department

Worked with Mosaic’s largest client, Pacific Gas & Electric Learning Academy (San Ramon, CA) in the roles of Senior Instructional Designer and Senior Learning Strategist.  

  • Managed all development and administrative aspects of a new two-year Apprentice Program for Electric Distribution System Operators (ADSO).
    • Creation of Curriculum Map, including five instructor-led courses, simulation practices/exams, knowledge assessments, on-the-job training management and requirements, field-training activities, and administrative procedural guidelines.
    • Managed the authoring and development of all instructor-led training: conducting needs analyses, writing content, facilitating milestone reviews, leading Train-the-Trainer sessions, writing and implementing knowledge assessments.
    • Facilitated all weekly ADSO Sub-Committee meetings (including union and management employees from the Line of Business, Subject Matter experts, Curriculum Development team, and Delivery staff.
    • Created an in-depth On-the-Job training program with mentoring, specific job task requirements, and detailed documentation.
    • Managed the labor and expense budgets to track and forecast an annual budget between $600K and $1MM.
  • Managed all phases of the development process for many other instructor-led and web-based training projects.
